Bring the 'Spoken Word Poetry' to your Classroom!
The Spoken Word Festival is bringing the best SLAM and SPOKEN WORD artists to come and visit your school. This opportunity is for grades 7-12 students and their teachers. Presentations include a reading and/or poetry workshop. Artist availability is from Tuesday April 17 - Friday April 20, 2012.
Word Travels brings Spoken Word Poetry and the excitement of the Calgary Spoken Word Festival to Calgary and area students!
World Travels is offering the opportunity of booking one of several very distinguished, active spoken word artist-instructors to present a reading and/or engage your students in a poetry workshop. And it all takes place IN YOUR SCHOOL! (The Artist you choose comes to you.)
Artists are available:
Tuesday April 17th 2012 — Friday April 20th, 2012
You pick the Artist, your desired start time, and preferred length.
