Olli's ALL-STARS Program - Grades 7-12
The Calgary Educational Partnership Foundation, the Calgary Flames and Olli Jokinen would like to hear about acts of heroism and kindness by students that take place in your school. The program, named Olli’s All Stars, is focused on creating a positive school environment and is open for students in grades seven through twelve. Deadline for entries for the 2011/2012 Flames season is March 1st, 2012.
Students are invited to write a letter to Calgary Flames Centre Olli Jokinen explaining their act of kindness, including what happened, how it made them feel and why it made a difference in their life and the lives of others Stories can be about preventing bullying, helping a fellow student or friend with something school related, or a simple act of kindness that has impacted someone in a positive way.
Olli Jokinen and his family will read the letters and select two students per month to attend a Calgary Flames home game. These students will receive two tickets to the game, an autographed photo of Jokinen, and attend a post game meet and greet with Olli.
Recipients will be contacted two weeks prior to the game date.
Deadline for entries for the 2011/2012 Flames season is March 1st, 2012.
All submissions become property of the Calgary Flames and will not be returned. The Calgary Flames may use the submissions in part or in whole in any manner. Winning entries may be posted to the www.calgaryflames.com with the contestant's first name and grade; no other identifying information will be used.
