The Safety Star school grant program gives elementary schools in our service territory the chance to win $2,500, which can be used for any school improvement project! You can write a short story, paint a picture, do a photo collage or a short video - whatever will help your school standout and help us determine who wins. A panel of judges will select 10 Safety Star schools. Whether you're a teacher, a parent, or a student, you can enter on behalf of the school. The deadline to enter is Friday, May 25, 2012.

The Canadian Police Association believes in supporting today’s youth and helping ensure their safety. As a partner in public service, the CPA has designed the Cops for Kids Safety program to help teachers and parents give our children the tools to Be Smart and Be Safe in our world today. The program is offered free of charge and has been designed to fit within Grade 1 and 2 Phys Ed / Healthy Living curriculum. Participation is optional.
