Candidate Information Package

If you are considering running for a seat on Rocky View Schools (RVS) 2017-2021 Board of Trustees, be sure to see RVS' Candidate Information Package. This package contains answers to frequent questions related to the election process and important facts of which prospective candidates should be aware. It is intended to serve as a supplement to the School Act and the Local Authorities Election Act, which are both accessible via the Alberta Queen's Printer. Where references are made to legislation, the specific legislation should be referred to for the purpose of interpreting and applying the law. Candidate Forms to be Submitted on Nomination Day - Sept. 18, 2017

Candidates must submit the following forms between 10 and 12 noon at Rocky View Schools' Education Centre, 2651 Chinook Winds Dr. SW, Airdrie, Alberta.

What is the Role of a Trustee? Information Session

PowerPoint Presented - Rocky View Schools will hold an information session on Monday, September 11, 2017, for individuals who want to learn more about educational stewardship before submitting their name to run in the 2017 Elections. The session will run from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Rocky View Schools’ Education Centre.
