Welcome to Early Intervention
Early Intervention (EI) services provides support to children prior to their entrance into grade 1. Within Early Intervention, this support is generally provided to children presenting with a variety of learning needs. These include: children identified as meeting criteria for Program Unit Funding (PUF) or mild/moderate funding. The two environments in which Rocky View Schools (RVS) Early Intervention supports children are the regular kindergarten programs and the two division based Preschool Intervention Programs (PIP).
It is our aim to identify and provide support to all young children (2 1/2 - 5 years) who require enhanced educational placements and programming support.
