About the organization

Alberta Health Services’ (AHS) Mental Health Services provides individuals who are experiencing mental health difficulties and/or illness with access to a variety of community-based, change-oriented psychotherapy services. Services provided include mental health assessment, intervention, information, referral and follow-up, as well as therapeutic programs and services to promote mental wellness for individuals and their support networks. Individuals can access support from a variety of service providers, including mental health therapists, physicians, registered nurses, registered practical nurses, and social workers.

Who can access these services?

Individuals who live in Airdrie, Banff, Black Diamond, Canmore, Chestermere, Cochrane, Claresholm, Cremona, Didsbury, High River, Nanton, Okotoks, and Vulcan who are experiencing mental health difficulties and/or illness can access AHS' Mental Health Services.

Individuals must call AHS' centralized intake line at 1.877.652.4700 to request an appointment.
