First Nations, Metis and Inuit

To enhance educational opportunities for Aboriginal learners in the jurisdiction, and to develop an ongoing dialogue about the Aboriginal culture amongst all schools, Rocky View Schools offers programming stemming from Alberta Education's First Nation, Metis and Inuit Framework.

Throughout the year, aboriginal learnings are brought into the classroom through cultural advisors, storytellers, educators, dancers, singers, drummers, artists, and more. The aim is to enhance the understanding of Aboriginal traditions and worldview among students and educators.
