Programs & Learning Services
Rocky View Schools is committed to engaging all learners through meaningful and challenging experiences, preparing them to understand, adapt and successfully contribute to our changing global community. Programming in our jurisdiction spans the breadth of early intervention and Kindergarten to grade 12.
Student Programs and Services
Following Alberta Learning's Programs of Study, our programs maximize every student's opportunity to learn through stimulating, flexible, instructional approaches that meet the needs of today's learner. Our programs aim to engage students by making what they learn relevant to the world in which they live. We believe student programming needs to focus on helping students to think critically and become self-directed learners. Moreover, we believe students need to learn how to understand, connect, interpret and contribute to a global community. Rocky View believes the classroom teacher has the primary responsibility for serving students. Therefore, wherever possible programs and services are brought to the individual student in the regular classroom.
