Capital Plan

As outlined by Alberta Education, each spring Rocky View submits a three year capital plan, which outlines our needs for new schools, modernizations, additions and portables. Alberta Education reviews all school board plans and submits its recommendations for cross-ministry review. School projects approved through this process are announced by Alberta Education.

Budget

In line with Alberta Education's funding framework, Rocky View prepares its proposed budgets in consultation with affected stakeholders. Preparation of the budget for the proceeding year begins in January and ends with the Board of Trustees' approval in either May or June.

Financial Statements are audited by an accounting firm and submitted to Alberta Education at the end of November.
