The two age groups get along great and the high school kids really take care of the younger ones. The teachers and staff are energetic and fun, and provide the students with many extra programs and opportunities. Our students have the opportunity to skate, curl, golf, swim, be in drama, and go camping and hiking.“ |
How do we define success for our students? At Beiseker Community School, we define success for our students as achieving their potential and being well prepared to enter the next stage of their life. For students in elementary grades; success entails developing healthy interpersonal skills, literacy, numeracy and good study habits. Students in our high school will graduate as critical thinkers and lifelong learners with integrity, confidence and positive self-images. All students at our school will be able to demonstrate good citizenship showing our three R’s; ‘Respect – Responsibility – Readiness’ in all of their interactions with the world around them. What makes our school good and how do we know?As a small school, rapport is quickly established between students, staff and parents. These strong relationships enhance all facets of school life. Within the school, staff members work together as a team to effectively challenge students to meet their potential. Evidence that we are a good school includes our high levels of parental participation in school events, the large number of parent volunteers and the very high percentage of staff retention. Our level of success is defined by the satisfaction of our community. |
