How do we define success for Westbrook students?Westbook School has developed a reputation as a place where academic learning is key within a safe and caring environment. Westbrook is a child-centred school where we believe that all children have a right to the best education we can provide. We define success for our students based on their academic performance, as well as their self-image and personal disposition. What makes our school good and how do we know?Staff, students, and parents tell us that they feel valued as a member of our school community. Our staff see themselves as learners and demonstrate a strong willingness to collaborate in all areas. Staff also take an active interest in the lives of students, and in turn, our students demonstrate a commitment to learning. Most importantly, our students go onto high school and continue to experience success in their academics and to participate in the school community. |
