2011/12 Innovative Techology Proposals
Interested in learning about the kinds of research projects currently underway within RVS? Then check out the 2011/12 Innovative Technology Proposals!
Through its Innovative Strategies and Technology Fund, RVS recently awarded $160,000 to 12 schools to support 13 projects that explore new technologies not used in the classroom, as well as existing innovative strategies and technologies that can help improve student learning.
Proposed projects were selected based on the innovative strategy being implemented, the improved learning possibilities, and how the project connects to 21st Century learning, RVS’ Three Year Plan and the school education plan. Schools are required to share their project findings with other staff in the division, and must submit an executive summary and a podcast or a video summarizing the learnings from the exploration of the technologies and strategies.
