Kids Love 2Learn - Kids Love 2Learn is a new website designed for students in Kindergarten to Grade 6. At the site you can learn how to  write & present a report, find help with your homework or just cruise fun stuff.

2Learn en Francais -  For all grades, 2Learn's en Francais site provides reference materials, resources and more.


2Learn for Teens - Grade 7 to 9 students will find this site helpful with homework, research and report writing and more.


Senior High Source @ 2Learn  - 2Learn's Senior High Source provides Grade 10 - 12 students with web how to's, tips on preparing for exams, the writing process and more. Check it out!

LearnAlberta offers students a wide variety of multi-media learning resources. Visit often as new resources are being added regularly. If you don't know Rocky View Schools User ID and password, ask one of your teachers or your school secretary.

Parent Guides to Achievement Tests - In May and June, students in Grade 3, 6 and 9 will write provincial achievement tests. These Parent Guides give details on the achievement tests and the curriculum details for each subject area.


Parent Handbooks - A variety of handbooks aimed at assisting parents support student learning are published by Alberta Education. Check back frequently for new resources to be released.

 

Achievement Tests
and Exams                                                   

  Provincial Achievement Test Schedule - Students in Grades 3, 6 and 9 are required to write provincial achievement tests. These tests provide important information to teachers, students, and parents and helps to ensure that Alberta's students are receiving a high quality education. Achievement tests are administered in January, May and June each year.
    Practice Achievement Tests - Students preparing to write achievement tests can download previous administered exams and answer keys or take an exam on-line and have it scored.
    Provincial Diploma Exam Schedule - Secondary students enrolled in a level 30 or 33 course must write the appropriate diploma examination and attain a final blended mark of 50 percent or higher to obtain credit in a diploma examination course. Diploma Exams are administered in January, June and August each year.
    Writing a Diploma Exam Soon? - Secondary students seeking information on the processes in place to write, re-write or to obtain diploma exam results will find these bulletins produced by Alberta Learning helpful.
