RVS Sets 2020 Provincial Achievement Test Schedule
Provincial Achievement Tests (PAT) are administered annually to all Alberta students in Gr. 6/9. These standardized tests reflect the core competencies that all students are expected to achieve, ensuring they are literate and numerate and possess the skill and knowledge to thrive in today's society.
Meeting Students' Needs Early
In Rocky View Schools (RVS), students meet high expectations and learning outcomes tailored to their individual capabilities. RVS' Preschool Intervention Program (PIP) is a publicly funded, early intervention program designed to support children aged three to five years old who have been identified with severe developmental needs.
Moving to Real-Time Reporting
As part of Rocky View Schools' (RVS) comprehensive Communication of Student Learning (CoSL) strategy, which is based on current assessment research, 20 schools serving students from K - Gr. 8/9 will be prototyping Real-Time Reporting in 2019/20.
New Transportation Regulation Requires Planning

Board Meeting Schedule
The Board of Trustees resumed its meetings, Sept. 5, 2019. Public meeting are generally held the first and third Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. in the boardroom at Rocky View Schools' Education Centre at 2651 Chinook Winds Drive SW in Airdrie.
Project WILD on Film
Rocky View Schools is proud of the innovative programming taking place in many of its schools. Project WILD is one such program that takes Gr. 8 students outside of the traditional classroom and into the WILD!
The Farm is Here!
Rocky View Schools is very excited to introduce The Farm, which will see 35 Gr. 9/10 student take their entire program this year through an agricultural lens.
