Greg has served as RVS’ Superintendent of Schools since 2016 and has a wealth of experience in the public K-12 education sector. Over the span of his career, he has worked for a number of school boards and educational institutions across Canada and has risen through the ranks from teacher to superintendent for two different school divisions.
Greg holds a master of education specializing in education technology from the University of Calgary and a bachelor of education degree with a computer science major and physical education minor from the University of Saskatchewan.
As chief executive officer of the Board of Trustees and the chief education officer of the school division, Greg reports to the Board and is accountable for the conduct and operation of the division. His responsibilities include student learning and welfare, fiscal responsibility, strategic planning, personnel matters, community relations and policy and procedures (see Board Policy 12 Role of the Superintendent for the details of his specific role).
