As of Dec. 15 at 3 p.m., 98.1 per cent have provided proof of immunization through a required attestation form or indicated they will engage in rapid testing to fulfill the requirement of the administrative, which goes into effect Jan. 3, 2022.
Of the 2,880 active employees in RVS, 2,721 (94.5 per cent of current active employees) are fully immunized and 103 (3.5 per cent of current active employees) will routinely provide a negative rapid test.
Fifteen staff holding positions (0.5 per cent of current active employees) are being placed on unpaid leave as they are not intending to comply with the requirement or have not completed the attestation. Three individuals (0.1 per cent of current active employees) have resigned. Thirty-eight substitute teachers or casual support staff (1.3 per cent of current active employees) are deactivated from working after the winter break as they have not completed their attestation or have stated they do not intend to comply.
