Chestermere Regional Food Bank

About the organization

The Chestermere Regional Food Bank is a not-for-profit volunteer organization that provides short-term emergency food and personal care items to individuals/families in Chestermere and surrounding areas. The Food Bank operates in conjunction with Chestermere Community Services, and is supported by donations from residents, businesses, schools, churches, and service organizations. Eligible clients may receive a maximum of six hampers in 12 months, which include non-perishable items estimated to last 2-3 weeks.




Who can access these services?

Individuals/families who reside in Chestermere and surrounding areas (from the Calgary city limits east to Boundary Road, and from Country Hills Blvd North to Twp Road 240 South) and who have been referred by Community Services, jurisdictional healthcare workers, or Child Development Advisors can access services. Families also can self-refer.
