Study and Go Abroad Fair - International University and Student Expo
Study and Go Abroad Fair is a free event, and offers students a great opportunity to meet with colleges and universities from around the world, to learn about post-secondary options. Graduation Message from Minister Eggen
With graduation season just around the corner, schools across Alberta are beginning to plan ceremonies and celebrations. Alberta Education knows how much graduation means to the students, their teachers and school communities, so Minister Eggen has recorded a congratulatory video message for schools to include as part of their graduation celebrations this spring, should they choose to.
2019 - 2023 Four Year Plan Process
From March 2018 – March 2019, RVS will engage stakeholders in a four-year planning process based on the the desire to inspire, gain insight, and build capacity through the introduction of a learning narrative, that defines how RVS teaches, learns, and assesses student learning, as well as solidifies an evaluative framework in which to monitor and assess the jurisdiction’s progress.

Bringing Mental Health to Schools
Mental health literacy is the foundation for mental health promotion, prevention and care and can be successfully implemented through classroom based curriculum interventions that have been scientifically shown to improve mental health related outcomes for students and also for their teachers. PAT Exam Schedule
Starting in the 2017/2018 school year, grades 6 and 9 Provincial Achievement Tests will be administered to students in an administration window provided by Alberta Education rather than according to pre-set schedules.
Ingenium - Free Science Curriculum Resources
Ingenium – Canada’s Museums of Science and Innovation is pleased to announce this year’s Educational Programs. These Educational Programs allow students to explore a range of amazing programming and digital content on the theme of human ingenuity. Programs link directly to Ontario and Quebec curricula, but can be adapted to reach the science curriculum of most provinces and territories.
