    RVS Support Staff Covid-19 Temporary Layoff - FAQs
    As a result of the government's announcement that it will reduce school boards' instructional and transportation grants, 240 RVS support staff have been temporarily laid off, effective May 10, 2020. The Human Resources Department has compiled a list of FAQs to help staff affected by the layoffs navigate the process. For further details, please review the Support Staff Covid-19 Temporary Layoff FAQs. Questions can be directed to any HR Advisor listed in the FAQ document.

These postings are for any teachers and support staff under contract in the 2019-2020 school year who have not yet secured a position for the 2020-2021 school year; retiring teachers and support staff who wish to join the sub list in the Fall; and current teacher and support subs who wish to return as a sub next year.
