Access to Morneau Shepell EFAP during COVID-19

To accommodate social distancing guidelines, Morneau Shepell has implemented alternate methods to contact its care access centres.

During this very challenging time, there are alternate ways in which Rocky View Schools’ (RVS) Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP) can support its staff. Through Morneau Shepell, the following measures have been implemented:

    • At this time, staff has access to alternate methods to contact Morneau Shepell’s care access centres for support and/or counselling.
    • In extreme cases, in-person service is available. Given the situation, this could change at any time to a fully virtual model, depending on direction from the government, health organizations and considerations around the safety of providers.
    • Employees currently set up for face-to-face counselling will be contacted by their counsellor to arrange an alternate meeting method.

For further details, please visit the EFAP website. Here, staff will find information on the virus itself, tips for caregivers and other valuable resources related to COVID-19. Staff also can stay up-to-date on Morneau Shepell’s Business Continuity Plan and access helpful tips for protection and coping by visiting their COVID-19 Hub.
