Koha is an open source web based Integrated Library System chosen to replace the outdated Follett CircCat current in school Libraries / Learning Commons.  In keeping with RVS goals to instruct and support 21st century learner Koha will be able provide 24/7 access to print, non print and digital resources to support learning anytime; anywhere; create personalized information lists; patron sharing reviews and post comments on titles; ready access to personal account and capability for self-check of material throughout the school or at home.  The data base is a Union catalogue which inventories all of the RVS Library resources in the division, thereby facilitating interlibrary loans between schools and providing an arena for effectively sharing of material.  Koha aligns and supports Learning Commons philosophy to provide access to the most up to date resources in multiple formats.
