- RVS Guest Author: Erin D., Grade 8 Student – “Your job, for this project, is to pick which invention you believe is the most important light-involving technology, and prove why.” As soon as I heard my teacher explain our new project, I immediately knew that I wanted to prove that the camera is the best light-involving invention, through an iMovie.

- Calling all school council members! RVS will host its annual School Council Orientation June 20, 2013, from 5:30 to 9 pm at the Education Centre in Airdrie. - On March 7, 2013, Rocky View Schools’ (RVS) Board of Trustees approved a 2013/14 Accommodation Plan for Glenbow Elementary and Mitford School (formerly Mitford Middle School) to address ongoing population growth in the Town of Cochrane.

- To minimize the impact of provincial cuts on student learning and support services, on March 21, 2013, the Board of Trustees raised instructional material fees and student transportation fees.
