Building Value for Rocky View Schools

As advocates of public education, Rocky View Schools’ (RVS) Board of Trustees is entrusted with the role of ensuring that appropriate supports, whether they be teaching and learning resources, staffing, or facilities, are in place to meet the individual needs of students. This role demands that Trustees identify, address, and seek resolution to educational issues, as well as work with government and their partners to continually improve Alberta’s K-12 system. Moving Action on Inclusion forward - RVS as a Change Agent

In July 2011, RVS was selected along with 12 other jurisdictions to participate as a Change Agent in Alberta Education’s Action on Inclusion initiative. Six schools were chosen to participate in the jurisdiction's project, which is focused on creating Universal Learning Environments. RVS invites stakeholder to learn about this initiative and its efforts to help create knowledge around building inclusive learning environments.
