Horseshoe Crossing High School

Welcome!

We are looking forward to serving students in the communities of Langdon, Indus, Janet, Dalemead and the surrounding areas. This is an exciting time as construction is well underway and remains on pace to open in September. We hope to be a hub for our community by opening a first class facility that will go beyond meeting the educational needs of our students and be a place that brings people together.

Over the next few months there will be considerable work occurring behind the scenes. Not only will the building receive its finishing touches, we will be purchasing and installing all of the furniture and equipment. RVS and Rocky View County will be working on the completion of the turf field project. We will convert students course selection into a timetable and hire staff to meet our students’ learning and social/emotional needs.

I am excited to open this school and eagerly anticipate working together with students, staff and our entire school community to create the culture and traditions that will shape Horseshoe Crossing High School for the years to come. This school was built to serve both today’s students and those who will attend for future decades; it will be our collective responsibility to blaze the trail. These definitely are exciting times that we will get to share in.

Our website will be developed later this spring. Until then please email with any questions.
