All vendors, contractors and service providers will be subject to pre-qualification processes outlined on the Service Vendors and Contractors page. The requirements for construction vendors/contractors may vary based on the service type, dollar value and level of risk.
All construction services require a contract/agreement prior to services being provided. The RFP/Q (if applicable) will include a copy of the agreement. The agreement will outline specific qualification requirements.
Contractors are required to follow the Contractor Health and Safety Program upheld by the contractor representative.
Construction contractors are required to report and investigate any accidents, injuries or near-miss incidents and provide copies of the reports and investigations to the RVS Contractor Representative, who will forward these reports and investigations to the RVS OH&S department. This should be reported as soon as reasonably possible. Any personal information gathered in the report will be maintained in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. RVS will follow up and investigate any incidents that occur on our sites.
