Transportation Registration Deadline Approaching

Register before Aug. 1 to ensure service on the first day of school. Registrations received after Aug. 1 may not be processed until after Sept. 18 and will experience delays of two to three weeks before they can ride the bus.

Input on New School in Langdon Welcome at Public Meeting

RVS will hold a public meeting on May 2 to gather input about the future grade configuration and attendance area of its new school in Langdon. The meeting will take place at Langdon School (17 Brander Avenue N.W., Langdon) from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The new school is set to open in September 2024 and has been planned as a junior/senior high school. This will likely change attendance boundaries in the future for Chestermere High School and the grade configurations of Sarah Thompson School, Langdon School and Indus School.

Feedback can also be provided online beginning May 2. All feedback must be received by May 25 at 5 p.m. The Board of Trustees will use this information to help determine an accommodation plan for the school.
