It's Pink Shirt Day!

Held each year on the last Wednesday in February, Pink Shirt Day helps to raise awareness around bullying prevention. Today, join Rocky View Schools by wearing pink and saying no to bullying!

Building Empathy, Compassion and Kindness

All schools across the jurisdiction will be supporting Pink Shirt Day today, Feb. 26, 2020, by hosting various activities centred around kindness. By donning pink shirts and clothing, staff and students in Rocky View Schools (RVS) will stand together to say NO to bullying. This year's theme, Lift Each Other Up, sends "a simple but powerful message encouraging us to look beyond our differences and celebrate the things that make us unique. When we lift each other up, we see past the things that separate us and see instead the things that unite us as people."

Started in 2007, Pink Shirt Day has grown into a worldwide movement, bringing young and old together in an act of compassion for those who are bullied and to raise awareness around bullying prevention.
