BVHS Temporarily Closed for In-Person Learning

Due to a construction delay, BVHS will not be open for in-person learning Sept. 2 – 5. Students will transition to online learning and students and families will not have access to the school during this time. In-person learning will begin Sept. 8.

Welcoming Students to School Sept. 2

Dear RVS families, 

We look forward to welcoming your child(ren) back to school on Tuesday, Sept. 2. 

You may have seen recent news coverage regarding potential labour action by the Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA). We understand this may be creating some uncertainty for families. 

For now, there is no disruption to learning. All RVS schools and facilities remain open, and classes and planned activities are continuing as normal except for Bow Valley High School which has had construction delays for reopening.  

Before any labour action could occur, the ATA must provide school boards with 72 hours’ notice. We are committed to communicating with families and staff as quickly as possible and will update you if anything changes.
