Supporting Your Child's Learning Journey

Helping your child with their school work isn't always an easy task. Rocky View Schools understands and wants parents to know there are other ways to support your child's learning.

Parents' Role in Education

As a partner in education, parents are the primary guides and decision-makers for their children. Parents know their child's strengths and weaknesses and how they best learn. To that end, Rocky View Schools encourages parents to take an active role in their child's learning journey through thoughtful conversations, which includes questions such as, "what did you learn today?", "what did you find challenging in school today?", "what activity did you enjoy the most? By showing interest in your child's learning, they will feel more confident and that they can trust to come to you when they are struggling.
