Learning from Nature and in the Outdoors!

Project WILD (Wisdom, Inquiry, Learning and Doing) takes Gr. 8 students from Manachaban Middle School into the wild, exposing them to hands-on learning that emphasizes the importance of environmental inquiry, re-connecting students to nature and getting kids to feel comfortable living and being outside.

The 22-minute film  follows students on some of their excursions into the foothills of Alberta where they learn on the land and sleep under the stars. For program information, e-mail
