WE Scare Hunger 2019!

An Airdrie middle school and car dealership are working together to provide the Airdrie food bank with much needed donations.

École Airdrie Middle School has joined forces with Cam Clark Ford to “Fill a Ford” with food during WE Scare Hunger 2019! Running from Oct. 1 – 31, 2019, students are invited to bring donations of nonperishable food items to the school. Then, on Nov. 1, 2019, Cam Clark Ford will bring a Ford, pack up the collection and drive it to the Airdrie Food Bank.

Airdrie residents wanting to join with Cam Clark Ford and École Airdrie Middle School can donate nonperishable food items at the dealership, 1001 Highland Park Blvd NE, Airdrie.

Connected to Communities

The WE Movement is an international family of organizations that empowers people to enable positive social change. Its WE Scare Hunger campaign is a school-based initiative aimed at contributing to local communities and helping raise awareness about the root causes of hunger. When presented with the opportunity to join this campaign six years ago, Ford Dealers across Canada jumped in and became the exclusive retail drop off location and transportation support for participating schools.

See the organizations website for more information about WE Scare Hunger and the WE Movement.
